Little Prince Delivers Big Entertainment

     
In June, NÖMS Ramingtal hosted an English-language performance by Vienna’s English Theatre. The event capped a year of solid student progress learning English from the school’s teaching staff, which includes three native speakers. 

The talented troupe of young British actors put on a dramatic interpretation of the French literary classic “The Little Prince”, by Antoine de Saint Exupéry. This is the beloved story about a pilot who crash lands in the desert and meets “the little prince,” a small boy from another planet. The young prince tells the pilot about the characters he meets as he travels through the galaxy in search of friendship. The Ramingtal middle schoolers agreed that the play was “out of this world.”
  
Highlights of the School Tour were lively musical interludes and the chance to meet the actors backstage and get your personal playbill autographed by the stars of the show. A special bravo goes to the girls of 2b who were brave enough to chat with the cast— in English, of course!
 
September has now rolled around and we are back in the foreign language classroom. We are ready to brush up on our English skills and are looking forward to the next English Theatre production!

Über 34 Jahre war Frau Karin Adlberger die Deutsch- und Musiklehrerin für viele Kinder an unserer Schule. 
Nun wurde sie am 28.6. in den Ruhestand verabschiedet.
Wir danken Frau Adlberger für Ihren großen Einsatz um unsere Schule, für Ihr Engagement im musikalischen, künstlerischen und sozialen Bereich (z.B. Musik mit Chorgesang, Darstellendes Spiel, Coolinarik) und für Ihre fröhliche Art in der Arbeit mit den Schulkindern. 
Alles Gute für die Zukunft! 

Am letzten Schultag fand eine interreligiöse Feier im Turnsaal unserer Schule statt.
Das Thema Frieden wurde aufgegriffen und sich dessen unschätzbaren Wertes für uns alle bewusst gemacht.

Im Schulhof wurden die "Origami-Kraniche" ausgeschickt und unter allen Kindern verteilt. 
Kraniche stehen für Frieden, Glück und Erfolg sowie für den Schutz der Familie und der Schwächsten in unserer Gesellschaft.

Anschließend wurde der "Friedensaward" vergeben. 
In jeder Klasse wurde ein Schüler oder eine Schülerin geehrt, die sich besonders für den Frieden in der Klasse in diesem Schuljahr eingesetzt hat. 
Ein großes Lob an die "Friedenspreisträger"!
